Gold for Grand Vintage Syrah at Vinalies Internationales

A gold medal from the prestigious international competition in Paris Vinalies Internationales 2012 was won from a wine of Midalidare. Grand Vintage Syrah 2010 received this special award. Two other wines of Midalidare won silver medals at France, where they competed with almost 3900 samples from the whole world!

The awards were received on the International Women’s Day and were admitted as a wonderful present for all the ladies’ team of Midalidare.

A total of 16 Bulgarian wines were awarded a medal at the International competition Vinalies Internationales 2012 in Paris. The competition is organized from the Union of French Oenologists (Union des OEnologues de France). As participants in the evaluation committees were invited more than 100 tasters from all over the world. Each jury consisted of 5 to 7 persons and under regulation two of the members of each commission had to be French. After a blind tasting the president of each commission summarize in real time the comments submitted and, if necessary a discussion is held until the forming of united opinion of each one of the wines.
