Tasting notes: Opaque, dark ruby red colour with purple shades. Rich, blooming on the nose with aromas of ripe black and red berries, plums and cherries, spices and an elegant smoky oak. Midalidare Premium Selection Tannat & Merlot is a juicy, well balanced and full-bodied wine with powerful tannins and pleasant acidity. The palate is dominated by black fruits and jammy notes, spices and vanilla. The finish is fruity, with medium intensity and a spicy aftertaste.
Serving suggestions: Pairs well with dried meat and charcuterie, beef and duck, soft to medium-hard cheeses. Great with grilled red meat, game, hard cheese and wild mushrooms. Serve at 16-18°C, in Cabernet/Merlot or Bordeaux glass (tall stem, larger bowl, wide rim) or regular Red wine glass. Decant prior to serving or use aerator.
