Winemaker's choice Syrah, a single vineyard from Dabovets

Midalidare possesses 1600 decares its own lands. Among them an unquestionable favorite is the Vineyard estate Dabovets: a premium plot where are cultivated the varieties Syrah, Malbec, Mourvedre and Cabernet Franc. On Dabovets are grown the grapes for the high class wines of the winery.

The harvest 2013 turned out exceptional and the above mentioned fact induced the oenologists of Midalidare to create something special. Single Vineyard from Dabovets, the choice of winemaker: Midalidare Syrah 2013 *Winemaker’s choice Single Vineyard Dabovets.

The wine is fermented in three 400-litres French oak barrels and is aged 10 months in 225-litres first fill barrels (barrique). Very well integrated oak, balanced taste, structure and smooth phenols. Impressive taste of spices, black pepper and cassis. Excellent ageing potential.

The limited series Midalidare Syrah 2013 *Winemaker's are created in 828 bottles. The numbered bottles from 100 to 200 can be tasted in winery’s restaurant Midalidare Vintage.
